The Office of Transition and Parent Programs coordinates programs and services that provide diverse opportunities and a set of shared experiences and common information for new students. Transition and Parent Programs facilitates meaningful connections that aid students in personal development, encourage student responsibility, achieve academic integration, and build community as students transition into university life.
Family Week 2020- September 21-25, 2020
Traditionally we host a Family Weekend at the end of September to bring families together to celebrate our University Community. This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have decided to shift our programming to a virtual format and will be hosting a week of programming!
Our programming will be focused on creating opportunities for you and your students to have shared experiences and to highlight our University community. Check out the events taking place!
EmBark and RendezBlue Orientation Presentations
We hosted in-person orientation sessions for students once they returned to campus. These sessions focused on Personal Safety, Bystander Intervention, Academic Policies and Expectations, and more.

Parent/Family EmBark Orientation Presentations
We will not be hosting a formal synchronous virtual session for parents. Instead, we will be hosting a variety of webinars and Q&A Sessions throughout the summer for our interested Parents and Family members. We recorded these presentations and they are available to view:
