The Office of Transition and Parent Programs coordinates programs and services that provide diverse opportunities and a set of shared experiences and common information for new students. Transition and Parent Programs facilitates meaningful connections that aid students in personal development, encourage student responsibility, achieve academic integration, and build community as students transition into university life.
Apply to be a Blue Crew Orientation Mentor!
We are currently recruiting current students to apply to be a Blue Crew Orientation Mentor for our incoming First-Year and Transfer students over the summer. Our Orientation Mentors play a critical role in introducing new students to UNC Asheville and sharing their experiences as successful UNC Asheville students. They participate in a semester-long course, a regional conference in the spring, and a leadership training week in June in order to learn everything there is to know about campus and all the great ways to help you get ready to become a Bulldog!
