In October 2017, we sent an interest survey out via a newsletter to transition students from fall 2016 through fall 2017 as well as listed information on how to access this survey on our social media and webpage.  From the approximately 1000 students who directly received this email, 18 responded with the following information:

Class year

  • 22% freshmen
  • 33% sophomores
  • 39% juniors
  • 6% seniors

  • 88.9% transfer students 
  • 44.4% nontraditional students (age 24+)
  • 5.6% veteran students
  • 27.8% first generation college students

Veteran Student Graduation Cord Ceremony
Wednesday, December 12
5:30 - 7 p.m.
Highsmith Student Union, Grotto

Please come and support each of our graduating veteran and military students through this tradition of presenting them with a red, white, and blue honor cord to be worn at graduation. This is a small token of our high regard for our military students and a time to offer them our gratitude for all of their accomplishments. The event will have a reception after the ceremony at which catered food will be provided.
